With our cosy Mobile Showroom, you can come on board to experience the level of comfort we’re talking about. We will visit your home at a time that suits you, bringing our wonderful furniture as well as our full range of fabric swatches, so you can really get a feel for the look you’re interested in.
If you wish to invite us in to your home, we can advise on colours and even take dimensions to create floor plans that show which layouts work best. Our lovely Maker&Son expert will give you as much time as you need and will be able to answer any questions you might have about the furniture. They can help you with colour choices, deciding which fabric is right for you and can even assist with the layout of your room.
To sit in our chairs is to experience a level of comfort that is hard to describe – the best way for you to understand just how good it feels is to experience it for yourself. We don’t have traditional showrooms so we have come up with a different way for you to experience our furniture…. our lovely Mobile Showrooms.
Sometimes just talking through a design challenge together makes all the difference. More than that, we can offer solutions that help you see your space with a new perspective, suggest colour palettes and harmonies, or perhaps help you learn about the performance of one material over another. With a lifetime of comfort in mind, it makes sense to take a bit of time to think about how to make the most of your new furniture and the space where it will settle. Our design experts will advise on both aesthetics as well as function, ensuring that your new piece(s) best suit the personality of your home or project.
We are happy to make our furniture to any size. We create U-shaped and super-sized sofas, we can take the arms off for a chaise style, add casters to increase height (for the tall side of the family), and we can even make modular units so you can configure and change your furniture as you please. We can use any fabric, as long as it’s suitable for upholstery (just send us a sample so we can review).
Our costs for Bespoke Design are calculated according to size, so special orders do come at a premium, but likely it’s not as much as you think. Lead times are longer than our standard sized furniture, so it’s best to allow 16 weeks. Simply bear in mind that our furniture has been carefully designed to be the most comfortable in the world, so we can’t help but provide recommendations that put comfort first.
Exceptional service by very friendly owners/team to help design and build a custom sofa suite. The products are just brilliant. Very reasonable price for the quality – would expect to pay much more in a high end furniture store.
All of our Bespoke pieces are crafted in collaboration with you. We design and fit your furniture to the unique measurements of your room – even the awkward spots! Every detail is considered including the fine fabrics we work with. You can have as much or as little say in the process as you would like, and let our experts guide you through our craft and process.
Our ever-popular floor planning service is free of charge, so if you are unsure of the ideal measurements to get the best out of your room and your furniture, we can help.
Simply send us floor plans if you have them, or even just a few photos or scribbles of the room. We’ll need to know the length and width of the space and we can create from there. Our design-conscious team will create variations with different furniture configurations that best suit the space and your requirements.
